Did you know that Docusign could do more than just sign the dotted line? The company recently posted a new FAQ saying it can now harvest user data to train its AI systems. If you’ve given them contractual consent, your information might be used to improve their own AI models — specifically, those used in Contract Lifecycle Management or some eSignature customers, according to Docusign.
Docusign introduced an AI Data Controls setting that lets account admins decide if the user’s personal records can be used for AI training. However, people still worry about privacy. The toggleable sharing option introduced on May 30th only applies to customers who have granted permission through their contracts and does not solve this problem entirely.
So, if these data practices worry you, it may be time to cancel your subscription or free trial with them now while you can! We will walk you through each step on how to cancel Docusign.
