How to Cancel Blink Fitness Membership

What good is a cheap gym membership if you spend more time waiting for equipment than using it? While weighing your workout options, cancel your Blink membership and save money.

Canceling a Blink Membership Subscription

The easiest way to cancel your membership is through Blink’s membership management portal, iBlink. Once you log into your account, click “Billing”. From there, follow the prompts to cancel your Blink Fitness membership.

Note:  According to the terms and conditions of your Membership Agreement, other than the membership portal, Blink will only allow you to cancel your membership via email and deliver a cancelation letter to your Blink gym location.

How to Cancel Blink Membership Online

1. Go to

How to Cancel Blink Gym Membership by Email

1. Write an email with the subject line “Cancelations.” Use the email address you provided when you got your membership.
2. In the email, inform Blink membership services that you want to cancel your membership. Include your full name, date of birth, membership ID number,  email address, home address, and mobile phone number.
3. Send the email to [email protected].

How to Cancel Blink Membership In-Person

1. Prepare a letter to the Blink Fitness gym you’re a member of. In the letter, inform Blink membership services that you are canceling your membership.
2. Include the following information in your letter: Full name, date of birth, membership ID number, email address, home address, and mobile phone number.

Note: Blink membership services will contact you if there are questions about the information you provided in your cancelation letter or email. If Blink cannot reach you and you fail to answer questions regarding your membership, your cancelation request won’t be processed, and you’ll remain an active member.

Blink Fitness Membership Cancelation Policies

Before you decide to cancel your Blink membership, review the gym’s cancelation policies, which are included in the terms and conditions of your Membership Agreement. The key cancelation policies to remember are as follows:

1. If you cancel your Blink membership within three days of the agreement’s start date, you won’t be charged any penalties. For members who reside in California, it is five days from the start date of the agreement.
2. Holders of an Annual/Commitment Membership Agreement or the Green, Blue, and Orange memberships have a 12-month commitment period. You have to give Blink prior notice before you cancel your membership. Also, if you cancel before the end of the 12-month commitment period, you’ll be charged a “Buy-Out Fee.” The notice length and the Buy-Out Fee’s price will vary by state.
3. Holders of a Monthly/No-Commitment Membership Agreement or the Gray and no-commitment Blue membership are to give Blink Fitness prior notice before canceling their memberships. The length of notice will vary depending on the state. You will also be asked to pay the prorated amount of the membership.
4. Members who have a Paid-in-Full Agreement will have their membership end on the expiration date listed on the agreement. If you cancel your PIF membership before expiration, your partial refund will be reduced by the prorated amount for the notice period.

There are three exceptions to Blink Fitness’s Standard Cancelation Policies:

1. A medical certificate from your doctor explaining that you won’t be able to use the facilities and services of Blink Fitness because of a medical condition or physical disability.
2. If you relocate and your new residence is 25 miles from a Blink Fitness gym.
3. In the event of your death and upon submission of a death certificate, your estate won’t be charged any obligation for payment under the agreement.

Note: If you cancel a Blink Fitness membership under any of these conditions, you will be entitled to a refund or an adjustment of any past-due balance.

How to Cancel a Blink Fitness Free Trial

Blink Fitness offers a 30-day free trial of its membership. You can cancel the free trial anytime. Simply follow the steps below:

1. Open the Blink app.
2. Go to “Settings”.
3. Tap “Blink Plans”.
4. Select “Cancel my Free Trial”.
5. Tap “End my Free Trial”.
6. On the “Blink Plans” page, you’ll see the message “Free Trial Canceled”.

Note: The same cancelation process applies to a Blink Plus membership.
