Target rebranded its RedCard to the Target Circle Card on March 3, 2024.

The Target Circle Card actually comes in three versions:

  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • Reloadable Account

The Target Circle Credit Cards are issued by TD Bank. And while TD Bank hasn’t disclosed the minimum credit score required to get approved for their cards, they often create credit cards for those with good to exceptional credit scores: 670 to 800+ FICO score.

What Credit Score Do You Need for a Target Credit Card

Even though TD Bank creates credit cards for those with FICO scores of 670 and above, that doesn’t mean that you can’t get approved if you don’t meet this minimum score.

Those with FICO scores of 580-669 can still apply for a Target Circle Credit Card as long as you don’t mind a hard credit pull on your credit report. Just be sure to apply for the Target Credit Card and not the Target Mastercard.

However, if your FICO score is 579 or below, consider building your credit history with Cushion before applying for a Target Credit Card.

What’s the Target Circle Card Credit Card?
