You can delete your Uber account in the app or online. Uber will send you a temporary verification code to verify your identity before allowing you to delete your account.

When you delete it, your information will be stored for 30 days in case you want to reactivate your account. After 30 days, Uber will permanently delete your account, and you will lose access to all of your credits, promotions, rewards, and ride history.

  • Sign in to your Uber account using your account details
  • In the upper left corner, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines)
  • Select Settings
  • Go to Privacy
  • At the bottom of your screen, tap Delete
  • Re-enter your Uber password
  • Select Verify to delete account

Unfortunately, you cannot save your Uber Cash if you plan to delete your account. You must use Uber Cash on either the Uber or Uber Eats apps before deleting.

If you’ve deactivated your account, you have 30 days to reactivate your account. After that, all of your information — including credits, rewards, and promotions — will be permanently deleted.

When you deactivate your account, you have 30 days to decide if you’d like to reactivate it. After that, all of your information will be permanently deleted. That goes for credit, promotions, rewards, and your ride history.

After those 30 days, you will need to create a new account if you want to access Uber or Uber Eats services.
