Cancellation fees are the least of your problems when canceling your Vivint services. In most cases, Vivint contracts have a section saying that you’ll need to fully pay for the price of the home security or smart home equipment before they allow you to cancel (with certain exemptions).
You’ll also need to give Vivint 30 days written notice before you can cancel their services. If you don’t meet these requirements, then Vivint will keep on charging you the monthly fee even if you insist on canceling.
If you can meet these requirements or you’re not bound by a contract to purchase their equipment, then let us guide you through canceling your Vivint services.
